Quality & R&D

Make things right from the first step.

From production to shipment, we deliver brake products — and a safety promise. Here is how every TOPWEST caliper is developed, inspected and validated.

01 — Inspection gates

Three checkpoints, every batch.

Each gate produces a written report, so problems are caught before they become batches.

IQC

Incoming material

Packaging, labels, appearance, dimensions, physical properties, chemical composition and mechanical performance checked against the approved sample. NG reports are issued and failed lots returned.

IPQC

In-process

First-piece, on-site patrol and last-piece inspection by operator, team leader and QC inspector — catching worn fixtures, positioning errors, gauge drift or drawing mistakes early.

FQC / OQC

Final & outgoing

Appearance, size, fit & function, marking, label and packaging verified before every shipment, so each part arrives ready to sell.

Quality FAQ

What auditors and buyers ask.

What inspection stages does a TOPWEST caliper pass?

Three gates: IQC for incoming materials, IPQC with first-piece, on-site patrol and last-piece inspection, and FQC/OQC final inspection of appearance, size, fit and function, marking, label and packaging before every shipment.

Which tests does the TOPWEST lab run?

Product life (durability bench), torsion fatigue, EPB durability, inertia dynamometer, comprehensive caliper performance (sliding resistance, sealing, drag), waterproof sealing, high/low temperature, destructive strength, salt spray corrosion, rubber aging, metallographic analysis and tensile strength.

How does TOPWEST develop a new OEM caliper?

In six stages: requirements analysis and planning, prototype design and development, engineering design, manufacturing and trial production, mass production and delivery, and after-sales service and feedback.

How are orders shipped?

TOPWEST organizes land transportation, air freight, sea container and express shipments for domestic and international customers.
